Chantilly / Leon's Mansion

Half scale Chantilly:
Added 'clothing and jeans' to the shelf.

I was able to find some charms to be able to accessorize with. The golfer and golf cart will go in Clayton's room in the Glenwood, but the rest I had planned for the Chantilly. I won't be able to use the toaster as it is flat - and also larger than scale, but the rest should be able to paint up nicely and work well.

I had ordered the dressed bed from Dale and I just love the bedding. I did have to change it to a different bed that fit with this room, but it was worth it. I contacted Dale to see if I could get some more of the heart material to make a curtain for the double window - mainly to hide the flaws in the trim. She had some on hand and was able to get it right out to me! Thanks Dale!!

For Leon's Mansion:
My friend Lee mailed me some colorful paper plates a few months ago.I didn't what I was going to do with them at the time. The smaller plates will fit a full scale Chrysbon plate perfectly. I glued them in place to the plate.

They make a nice half scale plate. I need to get 4 more small plates, but I don't have any more of the paper plates. I thought about having my husband print some for me, but I probably wouldn't be happy with them. I can spray the other plates a solid color to match and alternate them on the shelves.

I was able to order some half scale flooring for the dining room and plain white tile to finish off the kitchen from Happily Ever After. The items were not listed on her site - I emailed the store and the owner happened to have some to send me. Perfect (as always).

Leon's Mansion...what to say?? I love the structural details of the house.

Most of the pieces are labeled on the tab/slots, however the third floor was not. I did get pretty irritated trying to put the puzzle together. It was fine that instructions are not included, but I think at least if pictures were included, it would have been easier. Who really reads instructions anyway?
Putting it together reminded me of struggling with the Dura Craft kits.

Needless to say - it went together.

At my side is my faithful pup Luna. When I wasn't looking she was licking the corner of the house!

She fits under my work station...for now!

What a cute little face!

I can't forget about my son Carter!!
