Show and Tell

Now, I don't know if I have mentioned this before, but my favorite place in the world to shop is

I ordered a lot of things for my holiday corner unit.
My Patriotic basket, paper plates and napkin holder for the 4th of July scene.
Last year I bought a blue napkin holder for my Dad's place. It is such a cute piece, I had to have another one for my picnic table.
The crow is perfect for the Halloween tree.
The Easter Egg Coloring Set will sit on the kitchen counter of the Easter scene.
I am sure you can figure out on your own where the Turkey Dinner Platter will go!
The glasses will sit on the Thanksgiving dinner table.

The Glenwood has been neglected, but not forgotten! The Popcorn Popper I got for Clayton's room. He wants a real life one for Christmas - but I don't think that is going to happen. He can have the miniature one. Not as likely to be a fire hazard!
This perfect little Sand Castle will go in the sandbox - of course.
I am not sure where my fish will go. We already have the gold fish, but they are so cute I had to get both!

The Clock will fit perfectly in the pool table room.

Ordered a lot of half scale floursugar, wine, chips, socket set and diapers.

I love my little Lee's Line half scale dresser!

Look at the difference in scale between the 1:12 and 1:24!
Adorable

Last but not least from Happily Ever After
a canopy bed for my girls room

This week I also sold my San Fran and made a new friend. Most mini people are wonderful. (most, not all)

With the sale of the house I made my first half scale purchases with sdk miniatures.

The bunk bed for the train room.

The plant to cover up some glue error at the base of the steps.

What I am most impressed with though is the Kitchen Kit.

What I expected to receive was a bag of laser cut wood and a picture with difficult to follow instructions. Isn't that how most things are?

What I received was 7 pages of colored instructions, some of the paper to go on the cupboards and even half scale printies of food!

On Craig's list I found a gal that was selling a ton of her mothers miniatures. The only things that really caught my attention were these Adirondack chairs for $5

and this beautiful wicker set for $15!! It is wicker - not resin!
Besided the stench of cigarette smoke - these are some great pieces that will sit on my porch to air out!
