Ann Arbor, MI 3 Blind Mice mini show

Before I left to pick up my Great Aunt Edna for the miniature show, Jake gave me a card to help me along.

Inside was a wrinkled $5 bill - the entrance fee, and my mini spending money!
 He is so funny!

Once Koda, Aunt Edna and I got to the show, we were able to pick a free gift. This is what I picked

This is what Dakoda picked

I really was doing a good job keeping all the vendors seperate with the items I bought from them, but when I got back there was a couple pieces I couldn't find. At that point all bags were emptied and tossed and the goodies laid all over the table until we found my missing piece. I wanted to give credit where credit was due, but that went out the window.

This Autumn planter will be perfect in my living room.

This bedding set will work in Clayton's MSU room. Everything does not have to match perfectly and he also wants a golf theme incorporated into the mix. I also picked up a pot from this vendor that will match my kitchen.

This little wood cat is something similar that I had in high school (in real life) that sits in a window. This vendor also had this adorable little half scale table/chair set. I figured it would be expensive but it was only $5. If I don't use it - which I am sure I won't, I have a friend up North that I will send it to. Couldn't pass that up.

I have tried to make pillows, but they never turn out as nice as these.

A little garden gnome

Some very small cars and trucks. I LOVE the semi. This was the last one, or I would have picked up a few. My Dad is a trucker and I want to repaint this semi to match his.

Misc items. One of the peroxide bottles and the bandaid box I will put in my medical room box I will be making.

All of these came from one vendor.
The worn birdhouse will be awesome hanging from my fall tree.

They also had this welcome mat. Reminds me of one I had as a kid.

I ended up picking up a couple bags of field stone for my walk ways. I am excited about these.

Now this vendor I remember. Very sweet couple that have a shop in Holland, MI.  I spent a lot of time staring and their items.

I love the corn stalks. Absolutley perfect for my yard!

More tools/clutter for my garage. A squirrel, a pencil set for Jake's office, the paint gun - as Jakes previous job was painting cars before it made him sick,  and I had to get the sprinkler. That reminds me of stories my old boss would share with me about his father being in irrigation so now he collects old sprinklers. I like having little tributes of people I love through out my house.

Now this piece I debated on for some time. I am still planning replicating one of my works surgical rooms. When I saw this, I knew it was perfect. The counters would be on the back wall to the right, Docs paintings on the left wall. A drape fro privacy hanging in front of the door - and the door will look out to the nurse station. I bet I could find some resin people that would resemble my Doc and the head nurse....hmmm...more thinking just gets me in trouble!

The side latches snug to hold the glass door shut. Plus the room box has feet so it is raised off the ground/table some.

View with door open. Not much to see yet, but my ideas are falling into place.

Now of all the pieces I got, I have to say this one is my favorite.

I have not seen anything like this before - but I never really have looked.
The camel cigarettes are what Jake's Grandfather smoked. He died from lung cancer a couple months before his first great grandchild (Dakoda) was born. I will have these in my pool table room.

From the same vendor I bought the ashtray, they also had various game boxes.

I picked up any that had labels on the sides

so when they are stacked up on shelves, you can see what they are.

Picked up some strawberries

Now these are Dakoda's finds. She had her own money to do with as she pleased. For (almost) 10 years old, she did a pretty good job.

From the same vendor that I got strawberries from, Koda found this Bespaq chair marked down to $30. She was told because she is cute and was careful, they didnt charge her tax.

She bought this dog bed.

And because she handled herself well, they gave her a dog also.
I was well behaved and they didnt cut me any deals! :o)

She bought me some more racoons and a squirrel, but I think they will end up residing in her house.

Lots of hand made plants made out of air dry clay and painted. Plus some food.

Misc $1 items she picked out. But because she was so careful and respectful she was allowed to pick out a couple more items at no charge.

As we were leaving the show, they let her pick a prize. We never won any of the giveaways, but because she was trying so hard and kept checking our ticket numbers, they let her pick anyway!

I met 'Koala Sam' from the Greenleaf forum. I have some pictures of us,but I can't get them to load! I will have to make you wait to see those!

This is something I wish I would have picked up. A one room house that is a lamp and also functions as a night light.
