Now that the holidays are over I can get back to working on my many unfinished projects.
This project was started about 4 years ago. I used a box from work that came from a drug rep. At this point it just needs to be trimmed out. The cardboard is pretty flexible. In hindsight, I would not use it again, but what's is done is done.
I cut channel molding to frame out the box.
The dresser was given to me by my Great Aunt Edna, my Grandma's little sister. I love that I can see my Grandma's notes from her build on the back side of the drawers. I miss her writing.
I drilled a hole into the back of the box and into the back of the dresser to be able to hang it on a wall.
My Grandma made the rug and the umbrella. The kitten on the rug was from her collection. I plan to put a photo of my grandparents on the right side of the dresser. Just needs some crown molding and baseboards.
Me encanta como te está quedando, las ventanas son preciosas y la cómoda de tu tia abuela es un tesoro, el cuadro que quieres poner de ella estaría genial.

I think it looks great! Why wouldn't you use the cardboard again?
ReplyDeleteThe cardboard warped some over the past few years. It could be the way it was sitting.
Deletethat dresser is so cute and the little kitten just stole my heart (and not because I have a little one at home)
