Not everything is bigger in Texas!

Let's recap, shall we?
This is Dad's room/office in his Texas home.
Partial view desk.

Partial views of his shelf.

I am sure you get the idea.

Picked up a hutch at Hobby Lobby. I must say, I really enjoy living in a town that has TWO HL to shop at.

I didn't have any brown paint or stain to finish the hutch. I diluted black paint as a make shift stain.

Dad is a retired trucker from North American.
I stole this semi from a half scale boys room.

Printed off the logo to represent my Dad's truck he owned/operated.

This is my favorite piece.

Filling up the shelves. I painted a mug that I had and wrote DAD on with a sharpie on it.
The photo behind his adorable semi is my twins, daughter and myself at my boys graduation.

Dad worked for Good Year in the 70's before the shop closed in the Jackson, MI location.
On his fridge is a picture of him with my boys.

There are too many personal touches to even mention, but everything means something.

I will continue to add treasures and clutter as  I come across them.
The gist of the room box is done and has turned out better than what I envisioned.
