Cock A Doodle Doo!

On Monday I received the half scale plates I ordered From Nina.

They are so small!!

They will have a home in Leon's Mansion.

Notice anything missing?
My package of half scale silverware was short one fork, but had an extra spoon.
Puh-leeze.
Like I wouldn't notice.

I love this peacock rug.

But I will have to find a different home for it.
The table hides the details of the rug.

Worked on my Houseworks half scale porch.

I have had these bushes for a few years now from my friend Julie.

At some point I will order some flower kits from SDK and find some railings.

Full scale pieces seem so bulky after spending so much time in half scale.

Spray painted my full scale table and chairs for the Glenwood.

Reupholstered the chairs to brighten them up.

Even spent some time on my Grandma's full scale house.

Carpeted the nursery and started adding pieces.

Made diapers from panty liners.

In real life scale -
Koda and I picked up some closet doors for her room.
She was about to fall asleep while we were waiting for someone to help us load them.
After waiting for an hour (probably only 10 minutes), I decided I could do it myself.

Helped another guy load 5 sheets of plywood after lifting Koda's doors -
that counts for my upper body workout for the day.
Normally HD has workers buzzing around the place...until you need them.

Of course neither one of us took a picture of her ugly slider doors before I took them out.
I had to frame it in some so the doors would fit.

Took the easy way out and spray painted her doors.

Check this shit out!
They even work!!
I still need to trim it out and add the handles.
They were simple enough to do, so I might add them to  my mini room.

I will let my arms rest a few days before working them again.
I think I found some help getting rocks to finish around the flower bed.

  2. (Oh - and what about moving the peacock rug to the open end of the dollhouse near the bottom of the stairs? Is there enough room between the table/chairs and the open end of the dollhouse for that?

    1. There is not enough room. Maybe I could put in the master bedroom.

    2. How about hanging it on a wall? It would make great wall art!

    3. Too big for the wall. I think it will end up in the bedroom with a special shelf for the peacock.

  5. Holy Mole! You literally worked in three scales! And did a splendid job on all of them! The closet doors look perfect and I love the colors Kota has picked for her room! You know you could hire yourself out as a handyperson on Craigslist and make about $55/hour, right? Mad skills!!! P.S. I have been a member of your blog forever now, but for some reason you were not showing up on my blog roll. I manually added you, and viola! Now you are there! Yeah!

    1. Thanks! I couldn't work for anyone else. I do things half assed and consider it good enough for me. The closet job would normally take a couple hours took me all day.

      Glad I show up now!!
